Coaching and facilitation for groups + organizations
Skilled facilitation can frame and guide the transformational conversations you need to have (and may be avoiding) to propel your group, board, or organization forward. These structured discussions spark creativity, buy-in, and momentum, and can bring even unlike people together.
Group coaching creates a safe space for learners to openly discuss the issues that matter most to them. Participants learn from the perspectives of others, build their leadership competencies together, and support one another's growth.
As a coach and facilitator, I can help your group:
set shared goals and priorities
build trust and foster collaboration
tackle tough topics in a safe, structured space
move past disappointing results or ‘sticking’ points
manage transitions to new leadership, teams, or cultures
navigate organizational change and decision-making
realize the power of peer support
WHAT TO EXPECT
I work with your group to determine the best format for learning: from facilitated meetings, retreats and workshops, to group and peer coaching programs. We can work together over the long term or as-needed for thematic conversations.
“Irvenia Waters led two retreats for our organization at pivotal moments. In both, she was instrumental in helping the leaders frame what they wanted to communicate. She led the retreats with just the right balance of leadership, receptiveness, interesting content and visuals and interactive process. Both retreats moved us forward light years.””
“The group is a tough group to move…and you were masterful in the balance you provided of kindness and directness...Appreciating all that you did to prepare, support and facilitate us.””
“Thank you so much for facilitating the Myers-Briggs workshop. We not only had fun assessing ourselves but now have a better understanding of how the rest of the family thinks. Very valuable information! I enjoyed meeting you and appreciate your gentle nature. You are suited well for the work you do.””
““Thank you for your inspired leadership throughout this process. You listened carefully, kept us highly organized and on track, talked us down when we needed it, and kept our sense of humor alive.”
